Speaking of ammo, You see that icon? that means that your teammates are low on ammo. So going to the ammo box on the map is a waste of your time. But you're skyhammer and you can give yourself ammo. In the video, you walk to an ammo box to get ammo. Also lens flare, and dirt effects will only be there to block your vision and decrease your FPS. Go into the settings and look for head bobbing and disable this. There are costum configs which can help run the game better, but first try to lower all your ingame settings and see what that does. Pretty nice mouse if you don't get the bundle. Visit the sidebar of /r/mechanicalkeyboards for info. Mechs are legitimately amazing, you can get a good quality Cherry MX switch keyboard from Monoprice for $30-50. If there are any recommendations that can be met at or slightly above my budget please do. I don't think I've ever tried mechanical keyboards so I'm not sure what I'm missing out. >Keyboard & Mouse: I chose this because it was cheap. I'm really against WiFi on a gaming PC, might just be me. If you can route it to your room with cable channels or a coaxial cable stapler, that'd be really good. Look into getting a 75-200 ft ethernet cable from amazon for $15-30. This looks like the best one for the price. >WiFi Adapter: I need WiFi since there is no Ethernet Port in my room. The 410 is a bit big for what you're putting into it, and it can look at empty at times with a massive window and no custom watercooling/SLI setup. If you want something windowed, NZXT S340. I'd recommend a non-windowed Define S, very silent case, easy to build in, etc. But that Fractal Design R5 has quite the fan base here for a good reason. Something about that NZXT is futuristically sexy. ![]() >Case: The two cases I'm currently looking at is the NZXT Phantom 410 White and the Fractal Design R5. You'll probably never need to upgrade from an RX480/GTX1060 at 1080P 60Hz. > I might decide to go big on my GPU then. Get an 850 Evo, Samsung Magician has a RAM caching feature for Samsung SSDs which I find significantly boosts real world speeds. You shouldn't need more than 500GB unless you hoard movies and do a lot of content creation. Other SSDs can be recommended with reasoning. Price for storage is only going to get cheaper. I'm also going to be sharing my 1TB external HDD with my laptop, so no need for another storage device yet. They also said anything below 250GB is a worse product. They said 500GB and higher SSD takes full advantage of parallelization. >I'm torn between the 500GB Samsung 850 EVO and the 960GB Sandisk Ultra II based on the Wirecutter. You actually need the Z170 chipset to OC. >Plus some of the aesthetics on Z170 boards look quite nice. Plus I don't think my other uses are that CPU heavy.Ī 4.5GHz+ OC on a 6600k will probably serve your needs better. I'm not sure how much impact hyperthreading will have for CPU heavy games. Reasonable overclocking I've read can keep CPUs more current. >I'm debating on choosing between i5 6600k or i7 6700. Very nice build overall, you've done your research. ![]()
